As I wrote before in my entry Partisan's Disease, members of both parties are quick to see the worst in the other side. I recently came across this blog post implying that the Huffington Post has an anti-Israel bias. This very well might be so, and I am predisposed to believe such a thing, but the example used in this blog is awfully dubious.
It is this use of dubious examples that causes many to just tune the other side out. There are plenty of solid examples of corruption and stupidity out there; there is no reason to have to resort to this. Hey Republicans, some Democrats might actually listen to you once in a while if you stuck to the facts instead of grasping at straws. This is what is wrong with the Republican party: they will say anything to win elections. Of course, this activity is common among Democrats as well. And before you get to smug: Independents, Libertarians, and Greens, I've seen you all do the same thing. 7/11/2010 06:25:03 am
