Recently, while patrolling the blogosphere, I came across an interesting theory about what makes one either pro-choice or pro-life. It seems that for many, it's all about sex... This is of course just a theory, but this blogger suggests that pro-lifers care less about the lives of the unborn than they do about maintaining some sort of consequences for irresponsible sexual activity, and that pro-choicers actually want there to be more sex. The proof is that many pro-lifers will make exceptions in the case of rape and incest, and that many pro-choicers are bent on preventing mothers on recieving information to make informed choices (I added the second part from my own observations). It's an interesting read, and be sure to check out the notes at the bottom.

Most of American political history has been about sex and money. Both were the obsessions of the Elizabethans who came to Jamestown and Massachusetts. 8/6/2010 12:36:30 am
I couldn't care less who sleeps with who. As long as a) I don't have to see it, and b) if you make another human-being in your encounter don't murder it. 8/8/2010 08:04:33 am
Wow. You mean to tell me we don't have anyone who was murdered before birth speaking out on this issue? Talk about a lack of diversity! Comments are closed.
